Peer Networking- I am a member of an educational networking site called Classroom 2.0 which allows educators collaborate and join subject area specific groups.
Bedford County Summer Technology Workshop Attendance- As well as attending workshops on GoogleSketchup, Prezi, and Widgets, I taught a session on "Using Web 2.0 Tools In Social Studies."
Fall Foliage InterviewsFall Foliage Interviews - In order to help several junior students, I was part of a panel that asked the students practice questions in order to prepare them for their competition. Several of the students were very appreciative and sent thank you cards.
Concussions in Sports Certification
Grant Writing - Through a grant from the Allegheny Foundations, the 10th grade American Cultures II students were fortunate enough to attend the United States Holocaust Museum. The grant provided for three charter buses, entrance into the museum, and over 100 meals at Ryan's Steakhouse.
